1. Introduction to the Payment Portal

Welcome to the Payment Integration Portal of Govt. Degree College Shopian. This portal has been designed to provide a seamless, secure, and user-friendly experience for students to manage their fee payments.

The payment portal is powered by PayU, India's leading payment gateway solution provider. PayU supports over 150+ payment modes, including Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Net Banking, UPI, Wallets, QR codes, and more.

The portal is designed to:

  • Provide a secure and seamless payment experience
  • Offer real-time updates on payment status
  • Allow students to download payment receipts
  • Maintain a record of payment history

2. Accessing the Portal & Login Process

The payment portal can be accessed through: Student Login Page

Login Credentials:

  • Registration Number Format Examples:
    • 12345-SC-2024
    • 12345-KUL-2024
    • 12345-PRSH-2024
    • 12-digit SAMARTH number (e.g., 3343656522223)
  • Roll Number: College roll number, university form number, or SAMARTH reference number

Note:

If the login page is not enabled by the admin, you will not be able to access the portal.

Note:

All information on the dashboard is fetched from the college database and is in read-only mode. If you notice any discrepancies, please contact the Convenor Admission for rectification.

4. Making a Payment

Payment Steps:

  1. Click on "Make Payment" button on the dashboard
  2. Review the pre-fetched payment details
  3. Read and accept the Terms and Conditions
  4. Click "Proceed to Pay"
  5. Select your preferred payment method
  6. Complete the payment process

5. Post-Payment Process

After Successful Payment:

  1. Wait for redirection back to college portal
  2. View updated payment status
  3. Download payment receipt
  4. Logout or return to dashboard

Important Note:

Once a payment is successfully completed, you cannot pay the same fee again.

6. Handling Pending or Failed Payments

Pending Payments:

  • Status remains "Pending" if payment window is closed
  • Options on Pending Transaction Page:
    • Retry Payment
    • Cancel Transaction

Failed Payments:

  • Status updates to "Cancelled"
  • Common reasons:
    • Bank timeout
    • Server errors
    • Gateway issues
  • New payment can be initiated from dashboard

7. Payment History & Transaction ID

Payment History Details:

  • Transaction ID
  • Payment Date
  • Amount
  • Fee Type
  • Status

Transaction ID Format:

Roll Number + 8-Digit Alphanumeric Code

Example: 123456_2suple6h
