Terms and Conditions for Student ID Card Usage

1. Issuance of the ID Card

The student ID card is issued by the institution and is the property of the institution. It is provided to students for official identification and access to various facilities on campus.

2. Authorized Usage

The ID card must be used exclusively by the student to whom it is issued. It is non-transferable and cannot be used by any other person for any purpose. Unauthorized usage may result in disciplinary action.

3. Responsibilities of the Cardholder

Students must ensure the safekeeping of their ID cards. The institution is not responsible for any misuse resulting from the loss or theft of the card. In case of loss or damage, students are required to report it immediately to the administration and request a replacement.

4. Access Control System

The ID card will serve as a key to the Access Control System for entering and exiting certain facilities. Misuse of the card for unauthorized access will result in disciplinary measures, including confiscation.

5. Library Usage

The ID card is required to borrow books and access library resources. Any unauthorized lending or tampering with the card for the misuse of library privileges may lead to suspension of library access.

6. Card Misuse and Disciplinary Action

The institution reserves the right to confiscate the ID card in case of any indiscipline, misuse, or fraudulent use. This may include lending the card to others, tampering with the card, or using it for unauthorized purposes.

7. Card Confiscation and Penalties

If a student’s ID card is confiscated due to indiscipline or misuse, they may be barred from accessing certain campus facilities until the issue is resolved. Repeated offenses may result in more severe consequences, including suspension of privileges and/or disciplinary action in accordance with institutional policies.

8. Replacement of Lost or Damaged Cards

In case of loss or damage, a duplicate ID card will be issued upon payment of the prescribed fee. Students must report lost or stolen cards to the administration immediately.

9. Expiry of the Card

The ID card will expire upon the completion of the students tenure at the institution or upon their withdrawal from the institution. All cards must be returned to the institution at the time of graduation or upon request.

10. Amendments

The institution reserves the right to modify or update these terms and conditions at any time. Any such changes will be communicated to students through official channels.
