Government Degree College Alumni Association (GDCAA)
Alumni Association is an important paradigm helping a College to realize its mission and goals. An Alumni Association is a development partner for any College, its students, and the community. Alumni relationships with the Alma Mater are lifelong affiliations fostering mutual support and growth. In the last few decades, Government Degree College Shopian has produced academicians, scientists, literary figures, leaders in different fields, entrepreneurs, managers etc. who collectively have a wealth of knowledge and experience. The Government Degree College Shopian Alumni Association (GDCSAA) endeavours to bring all these outstanding individuals together on a single platform.
Vision:
Government Degree College Shopian Alumni Association shall act as an interface between the present setup of the institution and the alumni to help it grow by utilizing the resources produced by the institution itself i,e a productive relationship between the alumni and their alma mater.
Mission:
“To contribute to the development of Government Degree College, Shopian (Kashmir) and its alumni through improvement and development of curricula and programs, provision of financial and material support and enhancing networking and career development among the alumni.”
